Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of families during the earliest and most important stages of life?

Nurture the Borders is looking for a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Outreach Practitioner to join our dedicated team. This is a hands-on, community-based role supporting parents and infants across the Scottish Borders from pregnancy through to their child’s second birthday.

You’ll work directly with families in their homes and communities—providing practical and emotional support, helping parents build resilience, and fostering healthy, nurturing early relationships. You’ll also collaborate closely with our therapists, volunteers, and the wider perinatal team, delivering group programmes and offering one-to-one support that really makes a difference.

We offer:

  • A supportive team culture with regular supervision and reflective practice

  • Flexible working options

  • Full training, including the Solihull Approach and other relevant areas

  • A meaningful role where your skills and empathy truly matter
